| 英文描述 | Dogs and cats are reported to be susceptible to TRYPANOSOMA EVANSI, the cause of the disease 'surra' in tropical and subtropical areas. They are also both susceptible to infection with T. BRUCEI, and dogs can be infected by T. CONGOLENSE. Mortality rates of 100% have been described. Post mortem lesions are not well defined, but trypanosomes may be found in all tissues and body fluids. Spread by blood-sucking arthropods. |
